Renee Nilges is an award-winning artist who paints and creates from what moves her. When asked how long she's been painting, she says, "Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember."

She has been self-employed as a freelance artist, selling her paintings and comissioned work since 1998.

She has a background in commercial art, but is mostly self taught in fine art. Renee's work is in collections nationwide as well as abroad. She is a member of the National Oil and Acrylic Painter's Society (NOAPS). Her work is represented by the Manitou Gallery in California, Missouri and the Dunklin Street Gallery in Jefferson City, Missouri.
